Commissioned by the Musicians’ Union and the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters (BASCA), this report compared UK govern policy against UNESCO’s statements on the Status of the Artist, looked at the impact of such policy, with recommendations for change, where it would benefit both the status of artists and our economy.
